New Autumn Workshops

I have been busy sorting out my pottery studio at home after relocating from Curious. It’s now ready for workshops starting in September. Where I will continue to give expert tuition and develop students skills in my well-equipped garden studio with space for four people to work comfortably in a relaxed environment.

The workshops listed below are for people who want to book onto an existing workshop, but I’m also now taking bookings for small groups. If you want a few hours playing with clay with friends or family I can tailor a workshop to your needs. or one to one sessions for personal tuition to improve skills.

Introduction to working in clay.

Sat 22nd September 10am – 1pm

In this workshop we’ll explore mark making and textures to create a finished piece. I’ll give tuition in the basic hand building techniques. You will be able to make a small dish, vase or pot that will be decorated and left ready for firing.

Play with Clay Day

Sat 20th October 10am – 1pm

Another workshop that’s aimed at giving you the basics in clay. Bring your ideas and we will work together to create a small piece during the session.

Ceramics for Christmas.

Sat 3rd November 10am – 1pm

Make some seasonal items or presents with clay. T-lights, tree decorations or small xmas trees are on offer.

All workshops are suitable for beginners and the more experienced. My home studio is in the Sherwood area with good bus links and easy parking.

Cost for a three hour workshop is £45 including materials, firing and refreshments.
