Last year seven of us formed a group called Gedling artists and staged our first show as part of Open Studios Notts. This year we grew to 14 artists and moved into Woodborough village hall for the weekend of 11th/12th May. Over the weekend we had many visitors, live music and Frabjous events did their vintage tea and cake bit, which kept us all going. Saturday was the busiest day, with over 100 visitors. Sunday morning was slow, but by lunch time we were humming again, creating a warm creative buzz in this quiet village on the edge of Nottingham.
