Curious New Workshop

I’m excited about my new venture with CURIOUS at the smartly re-furbished Sneinton Market Units in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter. Two of their three units are to be workshops, one of which will be devoted to ‘mucky arts’ such as ceramics, providing me with a city location from which to run the regular pottery classes listed here.

Our opening day is on Sunday 3rd July, where you will be able to try your hand at pottery making.

Hope to see you there.

Open Studios Notts.

Gedling Artists
Last year seven of us formed a group called Gedling artists and staged our first show as part of Open Studios Notts. This year we grew to 14 artists and moved into Woodborough village hall for the weekend of 11th/12th May. Over the weekend we had many visitors, live music and Frabjous events did their vintage tea and cake bit, which kept us all going. Saturday was the busiest day, with over 100 visitors. Sunday morning was slow, but by lunch time we were humming again, creating a warm creative buzz in this quiet village on the edge of Nottingham. Many of us demonstrating our skills and techniques, which is a wonderful way to draw people in and talk to them about what we do
